Carol Cox Heidelberg
Carol is a native of Jackson, MS and has always enjoyed the creative process. After graduating from the University of Mississippi, she studied under various local and national artists as well as attending workshops to enhance and broaden her creative basis. From 2011-2016, Carol served as coordinator and programming director for the Mississippi Museum of Art. Such inspirations led to her joining forces with Sidney Crews to create Collage Studio. Carol has been painting for over 30 years and gathers many of her ideas from surroundings in the Delta, the hills and swamps of Mississippi, and animals.
Sidney Creekmore Crews
Sidney enjoyed all things visual and artistic through her childhood. After graduating from the University of Mississippi with a degree in graphic design, she and her sister began creating hand painted pillows. Her love for painting continued to grow as she raised her three boys, so she decided to collaborate with her long-time friend, Carol Cox Heidelberg, and open Collage Studio. Sidney’s paintings are colorful and she hopes her art brings others joy whether viewed in the studio or lived with at home.
